SCREAM Promotions was set up in October 2003 by Tony Cooke and Claire Jarvis.

Tony previously worked in promotions for EMI, Chrysalis and Warners, where he looked after artists such as Green Day, Alanis Morrissette, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Madonna and Cher. He then went to work at LD Publicity where he set up their TV and Radio plugging arm "LD Promotions" with Claire Jarvis (previously of Sony Records / LWT & Terrie Doherty Promotions). Tony and Claire spent four years at LD looking after the Radio and TV for various artists including The Rolling Stones, Roxy Music, Bad Religion, Rancid, David Gilmour and various records on AATW.

Tony and Claire left LD in October 2003 to set up SCREAM Promotions, which is now one of the UK's leading plugging companies. They were joined in 2006 by Scott Bartlett previously of independent London PR company Velocity Communications. Scott has worked on and overseen national/regional press and radio & TV campaigns for the likes of Alan McGee, Death Disco, Anthony Wilson, 65daysofstatic, Poptones, Epitaph Records, Sanctuary Music Group, Sub Pop Records, Telstar Records, Malcolm McLaren and Steve Lamacq's Punk Rock K among others.

The team is completed by account executives Natalie Kutscher (artists) and Natalie Jennings (events).

Why Scream?

We have excellent relationships and contacts across the UK media and a great reputation for delivering focused, professional and highly effective campaigns.

We pride ourselves on being open and friendly to deal with and, importantly, just as committed whether we are overseeing one of the UK’s biggest events or festivals; working closely with a leading brand, sponsor or key media partner; or a new emerging artist looking to be guided through their first steps into the music world.

Above all, we are passionate and highly motivated.  All being music fans ourselves; we are always looking for creative and innovative ways to add value to any campaign we undertake.

Testimonials...

“I’ve been the Entertainment Editor at ITN London Tonight for about 10 years & have worked with hundreds of music PR’s, publicists and pluggers in that time.  I can put my hand on my heart and say that there is no-one more efficient, effective, enthusiastic, hard working or friendlier than SCREAM. They understand precisely what we need and sort it out.  They are excellent communicators and manage successfully even when under immense pressure. They have an excellent sense of what we & other broadcasters are looking for and our often widely different demands.  They are the best in the business.”
(Max Velody, News Editor - London Tonight)

"Having dealt with the Scream team on both sides of the fence, as both an artist they have looked after and from the industry view point, I have always found them nothing but friendly, accommodating and exceptionally professional. Scream did an awesome job at Download, making sure every request we at the BBC put forward happened smoothly and promptly. I even got a lift back to London with them. I can't sing their praises enough”
(Daniel Carter, Radio 1 Presenter)

“The fact that I know Scream are handling the event always makes me feel completely at ease.  They are simply the best in the business at dealing with artists and media & making sure that everything you could possibly need onsite is catered for in a friendly & efficient manner.”
(Ian Camfield, Xfm / K-Rock NY)

“It has been an absolute pleasure working with Scream over the last couple of years. They have been an integral part of our success and have been extremely competent, professional and accommodating.  It is refreshing to work with such a passionate and dedicated team and I look forward to working with them in the future.”
(Magda Malak, Scuzz TV Channel Brand Manager)

“I have always found the Scream Promotions Team incredibly efficient, helpful and friendly - in the run up to the festival, during the event and afterwards.  Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are always happy to sort out interviews both on and off site.  Having experienced several other festivals, Scream is way ahead of the others in terms of their professionalism and it is always a pleasure to attend a “Scream” event.”
(Caroline Beavon, Head of News, Kerrang Radio)

“Working with Scream is always a pleasure - the Scream team are always efficient, passionate and fun.”

(Paul Baines, Senior Product Manager EMI Records)

I've produced Download Festival every year for Kerrang or Scuzz TV and have worked with Scream at every single event. They are great people to work with and make every television shoot enjoyable.  They are both fun and focused!”
