WOLFMOTHER ADDED TO THE HARD ROCK CALLING LINE UP!

Hard Rock International and Live Nation announced today that Wolfmother have been added to the supporting bill for Pearl Jam at Hard Rock Calling on Friday 25 June with more acts to be confirmed. Taking the stage at London’s Hyde Park the Australian foursome will make their welcome return to the capital supporting Seattle’s finest export Pearl Jam. Tickets for the opening day are on sale now.

Last year’s festival saw three sold out days and 2010 is set to follow with the Pearl Jam announcement marking Hard Rock Calling 2010 as the festival to go to. It will once again be staged over three consecutive nights with headliners and other big-name acts to be announced at a later date.

After a brief hiatus, Wolfmother are back and set to make 2010 their year. With their much-anticipated second album ‘Cosmic Egg’ already creating a stir amongst Wolfmother and music fans alike, their performance at Hard Rock Calling will be one to remember. With countless award nominations in the UK, America and Australia Wolfmother’s critically acclaimed debut album stormed the charts in 2005. Five years on and they are stronger than ever, currently on their first European tour of the year - Wolfmother will be the perfect addition to the opening day of Hard Rock Calling 2010.

Now in its fifth consecutive year, Hard Rock Calling has fully established itself as one of the UK’s premier outdoor music events. Past acts have included Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, The Who, Peter Gabriel, Roger Waters and The Police, who created what is now identified as the “must see” concert event on the UK festival circuit.

Hard Rock Calling, produced by Live Nation and presented by Hard Rock International, is a unique and historic musical event with a main stage, second stage and many surprises in store for fans of all ages. In addition to renowned bands and an on-site Hard Rock Cafe, the festival will include a variety of attractions to be announced at a later date.
